Samurai X chega ao canal Animax, entre outras atrações

O canal Animax exibe em 29 de setembro, um dos maiores sucessos dos animes exibidos no Brasil: Samurai X (Rurouni Kenshin). Com exibição de segunda à sexta às 15h e 18h30, a emissora não informou se haverá algum tipo de corte, semelhante aos que o Cartoon Network promoveu. Porém, antes, a emissora exibe episódios inéditos de Bleach, Neon Genesis Evangelio, Hellgirl, Hunter X Hunter, Shin-Chan, Prince of Tennis e Humanoid Monster Rem.
Como deixou de ser apenas uma emissora de animação, o canal Animax também passará HELLBOY em: segunda, 1 de setembro às 21h e 1h. Reprises: Terça, dia 2 às 16h. Sábado, dia 6 às 20h e 1h. Warner Channel exibe novidades em setembro

Em setembro, a Warner Channel traz Life is Wild no dia 6 de setembro, às 17h. Na história, Katie Clarke talvez nunca perdoe seu pai por levar toda a família para viver em uma reserva natural na África do Sul. Todos pensam que Danny, o pai, perdeu de vez o juízo ao fazer com que os seus deixassem todas as comodidades de Nova Iorque para viverem um ano no continente africano. Mas o que parece loucura é, na verdade, uma decisão muito bem calculada. Nada será muito fácil, mas pouco a pouco a beleza natural e a cultura sul-africana conquistarão os corações de todos.
Já em 12 de setembro, às 20h30, é a vez da comédia Aliens in America. A série conta a história de Justin (um típico looser) e Raja, um paquistanês recém chegado aos EUA. Justin sempre se sentiu excluído, sempre foi ridicularizado na escola. Mas quando finalmente tira o aparelho dos dentes acha que as coisas podem ficar melhores. Bem, não ficam e sua mãe, num ato desesperado de fazer do filho um cara cool, e influenciada por um conselheiro escolar, resolve trazer um estudante de intercâmbio pra sua casa, esperando que um lindo loiro garoto de Londres dê um upgrade na vida social do filho. VIZ MEDIA announces license for BLEACH THE MOVIE

VIZ Media, LLC (VIZ Media) has announced that it has secured the license from TV Tokyo Corporation, Shueisha Inc. and Dentsu Inc. for BLEACH THE MOVIE: MEMORIES OF NOBODY in the Americas, Europe and Oceania. The feature film, which will be aimed primarily at teens and older teens, will have a limited theatrical release in major cities throughout North America this summer with the DVD release to follow winter 2008. Subsequent details will be released in coming weeks.

Panini releases mangas in Brazil

Panini Comics divulged officially in its site will be releasing Bleach (13,7 x 20 cm), Princess Princess (13 x 18 cm), Count Cain (11,4 x 17,7 cm), Gantz (13 x 18 cm) and Vampire Knight (11,4 x 17,7 cm). . Production I.G. on Anima Mundi 2007

Anima Mundi is biggest Brazilian event of animation and will receive animations several countries. For animes fans, will have Japanese shorts films in stop motion, 2D and 3D animation. It has one in especial: Peut-etre Done Toi by Production I.G. studio.
Peut-etre Toi is a videoclipe style anime of Mylène Farmer. The other Japanese titles are: Domo in the Kosodate, Horu, I am the Bear, Kirin Lemon 77: Enter the Seven Sevens, Pika Pika 2007 and Scrapland. Excel Saga will be air in Latin America and Bleach coming soon

Animax Channel will be airing Excel Saga anime in Latin America. The title start July 6th at 10:00 p.m. in Brazil (and others Latin America countries, with local schedule). Papo de Budega confirmed that the channel will premiere Bleach anime in August or September, the date is still not defined.

JBC releases Gravitation

JBC Publishing will release on Brazilian market Gravitation グラビテーション manga by Maki Murakami 村上真紀 this week. The format of the manga will be 13.5 x 20.5 cm, 200 pages a volume.

Second Bleach Movie Announced in Japan

The Japanese Bleach movie website announced that TOHO will open a second Bleach movie nationwide in Japan in December of 2007. The first movie, Bleach: Memories of Nobody, opened on December 16, 2006 and will come out on Japanese DVD on September 5, 2007. The first movie’s DVD deluxe edition will come with 19 miniature posters, a deluxe booklet, and two extras discs with commentaries and footage from the preview showing event. Source: Ultimatum.

A Viz Media divulgou mais novidades para o mercado americano (do Norte e Latina), diversos títulos foram anunciados no evento Cannes, que acontece na França. A empresa divulgou oficialmente que o Cartoon Network adquiriu os animes BLEACH, MÄR, DEATH NOTE, HONEY AND CLOVER, MEGAMAN STAR FORCE e ZOIDS GENESIS. Ainda não há informações de datas para os lançamentos dos animes, mas em breve traremos informações sobre os animes.

Anime news on brazilian broadcast TV remains unclear

Anime news on brazilian broadcast television remains unclear. Let’s & Go – a success in some countries – isn´t more in SBT. The network made a huge presentation for the companies, but it was a disaster. Now, the company, owner of the anime rights, is negotiating the title with other two networks.
Viz Media informed that, initially, 52 Bleach episodes will be on cable TV. The dubbing will start soon. There’s no definition about the manga until now. The negotiations for Bleach manga must happen in 2008. In Brazil, the priority is Naruto. Now, only two broadcast tvs are disputing for the animation series.
Bandeirantes TV (or Play TV, it’s UHF subsidiary) doesn´t seen to be interested in Naruto. According to two sources, the channel refused One Piece and Saint Seiya – Hades. The reason is not clear. One interesting point: Band cancelled the animation program they’ve planed to show during afternoon.
So it seens that Band will have a reduced space for Japanese animation exhibition (althoug Play TV will continue their Otacraze program on night). Looks like the network had also cancelled their projects with Toei Animation.
Just on thing is certain at the moment: the Cloverway agreement for Otacraze anime exhibitions. Cloverway continues negotiating its titles for brazilian DVD market.

As notícias de animes no Brasil continuam relativamente paradas. O anime Let´s & Go – sucesso em vários países – não está mais no SBT. A emissora fez uma apresentação grandiosa para as empresas de brinquedos, mas a exibição do anime foi sofrível na emissora. Agora, a empresa dona dos direitos do anime já está negociando o título com outras duas emissoras. Uma exibiu muitos animes faz pouco tempo.
A Viz Media nos informou que Bleach terá inicialmente 52 episódios exibidos em uma emissora de TV a cabo. As dublagens começam em breve. Também recebemos outra informação acerca deste título: não existe definição quanto a vinda do mangá. As negociações para Bleach só devem acontecer em 2008. No Brasil, a prioridade de negociação é para o anime Naruto. Agora, apenas duas emissoras estão na “disputa” pelo título.
Até o fechamento desta nota, a Band (Play TV) não tem mais interessante em Naruto. E seguindo duas fontes, a emissora recusou One Piece e Cavaleiros do Zodíaco – Hades. O motivo não está claro. Mas um ponto interessante é que Band (ou Play TV) terá um espaço reduzido para exibição de animação japonesa. Isso porque a emissora cancelou o programa de animações que teria à tarde. Por isso, a emissora teria cancelado os projetos com a Toei Animation.
De certo no momento, só mesmo o acordo com a Cloverway para exibição do Otacraze. Por sua vez, a Cloverway continua negociando seus títulos para o mercado de DVD no Brasil.

Ichigo 100% not in negotiation to LA

Papo de Budega talked again with Viz Media about some company titles. Different from what have been discussed on latin web foruns those days, Ichigo 100% and Megaman: Starforce isn´t in negotiation for Latin American.
According to Evelyn Dubocq, Viz Media Senior Director Public Relations – “we have not sold MegaMan Starforce or Ichigo100%”. Evelyn said that if the information was published somewhere, it’s not official and don´t have any relation with Viz Media.
About Bleach anime, she confirmed that Viz is happy with the brazilian dubbing studio (the same of Zatch Bell and Naruto). So, it´s confirmed that Bleach will be dubbed by Dublart. More information about Bleach coming soon.

Viz não negocia Ichigo 100% para a AL

O Papo de Budega conversou mais uma vez com a Viz Media para tirar dúvidas acerca de títulos da empresa. Diferente do que muitos fãs latino americanos têm falado em fóruns, Ichigo 100% e Megaman: Starforce não estão sendo negociados para a região. Segundo a vice-diretora de Relações Públcias Evelyn Dubocq, “nós não vendemos nem Megaman Starforce ou Ichigo100%”, ela disse. Evelyn ainda disse que se esta informação foi publicada em algum veículo, não é oficial e não tem qualquer relação com a Viz Media.
Sobre o anime de Bleach, ela confirmou que a Viz está feliz com o estúdio brasileiro, que é o mesmo de Zatch Bell e Naruto. Assim, está confirmado que Bleach será dublado no estúdio Dublart.

Bleach anime arrives in Brazil and Latin America

The last week, Papo de Budega contacted Viz Media. The company confirmed that Bleach anime already is being negotiated for all Latin America. According to International Licensing Manager Andrea Gonzalez, Bleach negotiation is happening with a cable TV for all Latin America. She didn´t cite the name of channel, but for obvious reasons, TV in question is Cartoon Network.
“Currently Bleach is being adapted from the version that is aired in the United States. This U.S. version airs on Adult Swim at midnight, therefore there should be no major changes to the original aired in Japan. (This should keep the Bleach fans very happy)”, Gonzalez said.
She still informed that no dubbing process phase had beginning. Possibly the work to be made in Dublarte studio, same that made Zatch Bell and Naruto. However, manager made an interesting commentary: “Please note that VIZ Media is VERY aware that there are fans who would prefer that the series be dubbed in Rio and we have received many emails from fans telling us their opinions on the matter. We greatly appreciate how dedicated Bleach fans are and we hope that they will enjoy Bleach when it begins airing on cable in Brazil.”

Esta semana, o Papo de Budega conversou com Viz Media. A empresa nos confirmou que o anime de Bleach já está sendo negociado para toda a América Latina. Segundo a gerente internacional de licenças Andréa Gonzalez, a negociação de Bleach está acontecendo com uma TV a cabo para toda a AL. Ela não citou o nome da emissora, mas por motivos óbvios, o canal em questão é o Cartoon Network.
A versão que chegará ao mercado brasileiro/ latino americano é a mesma exibida no Adult Swim. “… há poucas alterações da versão americana em relação a japonesa (o que deixará os fãs felizes)”, ela comentou.
Gonzalez ainda informou que nenhuma fase do processo da dublagem teve início. Por conta disso, existe a possibilidade de todo o trabalho ser feito no estúdio Dublarte, o mesmo que fez Zatch Bell e Naruto.
Contudo, a gerente deixou um comentário em aberto: “veja que a Viz Media está MUITO atenta ao que os fãs desejam e que preferem que a série seja dublada no Rio de Janeiro, já que recebemos muitos e-mails de fãs falando de suas opiniões. Nós realmente apreciamos a dedicação dos fãs de Bleach e esperamos que eles curtam a animação quando começar a ser exibida na TV a cabo no Brasil”. A questão que ficou no ar é a de que a Viz Media pode levar o anime a algum estúdio do Rio de Janeiro.

Bleach é um dos títulos de mangá e anime mais famosos no Japão nos últimos anos. A obra chegou há pouco tempo nos Estados Unidos pela Viz Media. O Papo de Budega entrou em contato com a empresa, que nos informou que não há previsão da vinda do mangá ou anime. Não existem projetos para mercado brasileiro até o momento. Warner transmite entrega do Globo de Ouro

No dia 15 de janeiro, a partir das 22h, terá inicio a cerimônia de entrega de um dos prêmios mais conceituados da TV e do cinema: o Globo de Ouro. O evento será exibido ao vivo e na íntegra pela Warner Channel, incluindo a glamurosa entrada dos astros hollywoodianos pelo tapete vermelho.
Para a ocasião, a Warner Channel escolheu dois grandes nomes da indústria do entretenimento para fazer os comentários do evento: o crítico de cinema Rubens Ewald Filho, que estará exclusivamente para o Brasil; e o jornalista e escritor venezuelano Cesar Miguel Rondón, para os demais países da América Latina.
A cerimônia, que chega à sua 64ª edição, será transmitida diretamente de Los Angeles, California.
